Kamala Harris has spent her life making history. She is the first woman, the first Black, and the first South Asian to be elected Vice President of the United States, and now we have the opportunity to elect her to the Presidency. Born in Oakland, California and a graduate of Howard University, Kamala had a successful career in law before becoming a US Senator in 2016. She was the District Attorney of Alameda county and later the District Attorney of San Francisco. In 2011, Kamala Harris became the first woman and the first African American to serve as the Attorney General of the State of California. As Vice President, Kamala has been key in the fight to protect civil rights as well as engaging in international policy and diplomacy. She has a record of supporting policy and initiatives aimed at addressing systematic inequalities, especially those that are critical to minority communities. In the 2018 Presidential election, Kamala Harris and Joe Biden were successful in defeating Donald Trump, and we have the chance to help her do it again! By donating support, time, and money, we can beat Trump!
