Shamrock the Block is back for the 18th year to officially kick off the 2024 outdoor festival season in Richmond! We had a great time with friends and neighbors as we celebrated in the streets of Scott's Addition. This year's party was held on leigh street between Movieland and The Bon Secours Training Facility where we enjoyed live music and classic festival eats. The energy was infectious as everyone danced and celebrated the end of cabin fever together.
The 2024 live music line-up kept us vibing all day. JBB, a local psychedelic Southern Rock & Roll Band kicked off the day at noon. Mashup & Cozy Condition, a Raw Funk and Rock band went on around 2 and they had a full stage of funky locals that kept us dancing. Last but absolutely not least, What’s Our Age Again? closed out the afternoon with our favorite 90s and 2000s rock hits!
The weather was great, the music was better, the food was AMAZING! There’s no better way to spend a weekend than at a festival in the city - and we’ve got a lineup this year. We’re all so lucky to be in Richmond.
